Estate-Agent Viewing Glasses Privacy Policy

What this app does

Estate-Agent Viewing Glasses gives an estate agent walking a property assistive viewing notes: describing a room, checking a viewing checklist, or drafting notes — from a phone camera companion. This is an assistive aid, not a survey, valuation, structural report or legal advice.

What we collect

• No account or sign-in is required to use this site.
• Each time you use Describe, Check or Notes, the photo and/or note text for that request is sent to our AI provider to generate the response shown to you. Nothing is stored on our servers afterwards — there is no server-side database behind this web app.
• The “Join early access” button opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled message — see “Who we share data with” below. We do not collect anything through it ourselves.
• Every page load sends a minimal, first-party page-view signal (the page path, the referring page, an anonymous per-tab session id generated in your browser, and this product's name) to our own analytics endpoint, so we can see which pages get used. It sets no cookies, is skipped entirely if your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, and is not shared with any outside analytics company.
• Cloudflare, our hosting provider, processes standard connection logs to keep the site secure.

A separate native app exists

A companion native iOS app (a distinct codebase, using its own backend) has been built as a reference/demo of the same concept using Meta's Wearables Device Access Toolkit. This policy describes the web app served at this address; the native app is not distributed through this site.

Why we process it, and on what basis

• Legitimate interests — running the assistant you actively triggered, and keeping the site secure.

Who we share data with

• Cloudflare — our hosting/edge network, which processes standard connection logs (IP address, browser type, request timestamps) to serve the site securely.
• Anthropic — the AI provider that processes the photo/text you submit for that specific request, to generate the response you asked for.
• WhatsApp (Meta) — the “Join early access” button opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled message addressed to a contact you choose yourself. We do not receive anything through this button; any message you go on to send is handled under WhatsApp/Meta's own privacy policy, not ours.

How long we keep it

We don't keep photos, checklist results or notes after the request that generated them — there is no database in this web app to store them in. Cloudflare keeps connection logs per its own standard operational retention.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased in certain circumstances; restrict or object to our processing; receive data you gave us in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it.
